Thömus has stood for Swiss engineering, innovation and passion for cycling for over 30 years. From the first design to final assembly, we develop and build our bikes in Switzerland – individually, high-quality and with great attention to detail.

To strengthen our Purchasing & Product Management team, we are looking for a true bike enthusiast with solid technical know-how, an eye for detail and joy in finding solutions even for the most demanding customer requests.

As the central technical interface between sales, internal sales, product management, purchasing and R&D, you ensure that our customer orders are technically correct, complete and feasible.

Your tasks – You make a difference:

• You check and control all final bike and e-bike customer orders for administrative and technical accuracy, completeness as well as component compatibility and release them for further processing.
• You coordinate special orders, individual customer requests and special requirements from order notes with the responsible departments.
• You support our sales consultants with technical questions, complex bike configurations, special builds and demanding VIP customer requests.
• In case of uncertainties or missing information, you clarify open questions directly with our sales consultants or, if necessary, with the end customers.
• You are the central technical hub between sales, internal sales, product management, purchasing and R&D and ensure smooth information flow.
• You communicate technical innovations, product changes, compatibilities and important information from R&D, product management and purchasing to our sales teams.
• You regularly collect feedback from sales and workshops on market needs, technical challenges and improvement potentials and actively bring these insights into product management.

Your profile – what you bring:

• You are a true bike enthusiast and passionate about bicycles, e-bikes, components and new technologies.
• You have solid technical expertise around bikes, e-bikes, components and their compatibilities.
• Ideally, you have training as a bicycle mechanic EFZ or bring comparable technical experience from the bicycle industry.
• You have experience in direct customer contact, ideally from sales, a bicycle workshop or technical consulting.
• You think solution-oriented, work structured and precise and keep an overview even with complex tasks.
• You are communicative, team-oriented and can explain technical contexts clearly.
• You like to take responsibility, show initiative and work independently.
• You have very good German skills. French skills are a plus.
