Associate psychologist in outpatient child psychiatry
The University Service of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (SUPEA) of the Department of Psychiatry of the CHUV (DP CHUV) is looking for an associate psychologist at a 60% activity rate on a permanent contract, starting December 1, 2025 or to be agreed upon, at the Payerne Outpatient Consultation with regular hours. The position includes co-responsibility for the consultation (team of two).
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The University Service of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry plays a central reference role in psychiatric treatments for children and adolescents in the Lausanne region and the canton of Vaud. The service supports a vision of so-called community psychiatry and therefore offers patients and families local outpatient care. We also provide hospital care, ensure liaison in pediatric hospitals, and offer day center services in collaboration with external network partners. Additionally, we carry out training and research missions. The service is divided into 4 sectors: Hospital, liaison, day center, and outpatient.
The Payerne outpatient consultation is part of the "General and Specialized Consultations" sector. It receives patients from birth to 18 years old, as well as their families. The expertise of this general consultation extends to all disorders of child and adolescent psychiatry. These are integrated care approaches based on investigations, diagnosis, and co-construction of treatment plans with patients, their families, and the external professional network. Therapists at the consultation also practice psychotherapy according to one of the three recognized approaches.
