We are looking for a Cook to join our dynamic and committed team, available immediately.
Your main tasks
As a member of our team, you will play a central role in the preparation and distribution of meals adapted to the needs of our patients, residents, beneficiaries, and staff, while ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and good manufacturing practices.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, checking, and storing foodstuffs according to quality criteria and FIFO rules
- Ensuring the setup, preparation, and cooking of dishes, including preparations adapted to specific diets
- Distributing and plating dishes for the various services, ensuring the smooth running of the distribution chain and the quality of presentation
- Taking into account the particular needs of patients, notably in collaboration with the dietician
- Following dietary prescriptions and managing specific requests
- Organising daily production and distributing tasks among team members
- Participating in the supervision of apprentices
- Contributing to health, safety, and workplace hygiene, as well as maintaining and continuously improving quality and HACCP monitoring
Profile sought
- Cook’s Federal Certificate of Competence (required)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, ideally in collective catering
- Organisational skills, rigour, proactivity, and discretion
- Strong ability to train and support apprentices
- Good level of spoken and written French
- Good knowledge of computer tools (Office Suite)
- Empathy, interpersonal skills, and ease in communicating with elderly people
- A specialisation or experience in dietetics is an asset
- Experience in the medical or hospital sector is an asset
