Ready for a change? Then we might be the right corps for you. We are looking for reinforcement for our 11-member team immediately or by arrangement. We ensure safety and order in a diverse operational area with around 18,000 inhabitants. Together with the police corps of Uster, Dübendorf, and Volketswil, we operate in a regional network, thereby strengthening coordinated patrol activities in the region and are looking for a
- Perform activities in the area of basic security, traffic, and criminal police services according to the POG and PolG of the canton of Zurich.
- Patrol service in our city as well as in the regional network from Uster via Volketswil to Dübendorf.
- Organize and coordinate operations with various focuses.
- Take on additional tasks, special functions, and secondary offices if suitable.
- Have the federal specialist certificate or the federal diploma as a police officer.
- Are looking for a varied police daily routine.
- Are a pronounced team player with high mental and physical resilience.
- Are looking for socially compatible duty scheduling with regulated working hours «Night duty mainly until 2:00 a.m. as well as 8 additional rest days available in addition to the 5 weeks of vacation».
