Tasks
- Timely delivery and collection of goods, materials or products
- Safe operation of vehicles in Category C
- Loading and unloading the vehicle in compliance with safety regulations
- Checking load securing before departure
- Responsibility for correct and complete transport handling
- Carrying out delivery trips according to the route plan
- Friendly and professional contact with customers, suppliers and internal departments
- Checking delivery papers, delivery notes and transport documents
- Reporting deviations, damages or delays to the responsible department
- Responsibility for cleanliness, maintenance and proper condition of the vehicle
- Performing simple vehicle checks before and after trips
- Compliance with legal regulations on road safety, working hours and rest periods
- Support with general logistics and warehouse tasks as needed
- Assistance with internal transports and organisational processes
Requirements
- Valid Category C driving licence
- Completed CZV training or valid driver qualification certificate
- Several years of professional experience as a driver advantageous
- Good knowledge of applicable traffic and transport regulations
- Experience handling delivery papers and transport documents
- Physical resilience and willingness to load and unload
- Reliable, independent and responsible working style
- Punctuality and high safety awareness
- Friendly, well-groomed and customer-oriented appearance
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Local knowledge or good orientation advantageous
- Flexibility regarding working hours and route assignments
- Teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with warehouse, dispatch and customer service
