In this key role, you lead the "Key Clients" division (assets CHF 5–30 million) and report directly to the Head of Private Banking. Your focus is on the strategic development of the unit and the leadership of the teams – with the aim of strengthening our position as the most trusted private bank in Switzerland. Through close and appreciative collaboration with other segments, you promote growth and an outstanding client experience for demanding clients. As a convincing personality, you represent the bank both internally and externally and actively contribute to the realisation of our ambition.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and development of the Key Clients division to foster growth and enhance scalability for the successful acquisition of additional business opportunities (product and service offerings, service model)
- Responsibility for the results of an extensive client portfolio with significant business volume and high returns
- Line management responsibility for 75 employees as well as managing the associated budget framework
- Ensuring high quality of client books (financial and non-financial risk profile, margins, client satisfaction)
- Increasing operational efficiency and optimising internal processes to future-proof the unit and promote employee satisfaction
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including collaboration with experts, other business areas, and partners
Your Profile
- Completed university degree (university or university of applied sciences) as well as targeted further training in finance and/or leadership
- Many years of leadership experience in private banking, especially in leading and developing RM teams
- Proven experience in direct client contact with demanding private banking clients as well as a deep understanding of their needs and expectations
- Sound knowledge of risk management in the private banking environment and confident handling of complex client portfolios
- Excellent communication, presentation, and representation skills to convincingly appear both internally and externally
- Strong client orientation and proven collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent German and very good English skills, French is an advantage
