The Neuchâtel Hospital Network (RHNe) is the public hospital institution of the canton of Neuchâtel.
It operates across several sites throughout the cantonal territory: two acute care centres (Pourtalès site in Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds site), as well as a network of regional branches including rehabilitation centres (Le Locle and Landeyeux), a palliative care unit (La Chrysalide), a local polyclinic (Val-de-Travers) and a paediatric consultation for the Mountains (La Chaux-de-Fonds). Approximately 3200 employees work in around sixty professions (nursing, medicine, medical-technical staff, logistics, administration, etc.), making the RHNe the largest employer in the canton.

Human Resources Director
Responsibilities of the role
- Define and implement the RHNe personnel policy in accordance with its institutional values,
- Lead the Human Resources department, organise its operation ensuring in particular the quality and efficiency of its services, respecting institutional values and applicable standards.
- Support the deployment of RHNe’s strategic options towards 2030, especially those aimed at attracting and retaining employees.
- Supervise and unify key HR processes: recruitment, remuneration, development, occupational health, HR partners and administrative management.
- Support continuous improvement, anticipate needs and ensure the adequacy of skills, equipment and information systems.
- Unite teams around a demanding and shared vision, embodying leadership and excellence.
- Ensure services such as recruitment, remuneration, development, occupational health and administrative management.
- Coordinate career planning and talent retention within the institution.
- Manage relations with the RHNe staff committee and social partners, be proactive in conducting negotiations of several collective labour agreements, including the Health CLA 21.
- Represent the RHNe in certain Health CLA 21 commissions, within the Neuchâtel cantonal compensation fund by delegation, and with other bodies or at official events.
Profile sought
Holder of a university degree and continuing education in management, you have solid experience in human resources in complex environments, ideally in healthcare. With strong leadership and an excellent understanding of strategic issues, you know how to mobilise and unite multidisciplinary teams in a context of transformation. Your collaborative approach, ability to delegate and decide, as well as your innovative spirit enable you to create strong partnerships, support talent development and contribute effectively to achieving organisational objectives.
