Sous Chef - Basel
We are one of the last three "Gasthof Ochsen" in Switzerland with an in-house butcher's shop in
family ownership. "Meat enjoyment with family tradition" is lived daily with us. Our hotel features
over 35 modern rooms, a restaurant with a guest lounge, Ermitage and Birseck lounges, our
"Village Terrace" and 2 banquet halls.
Our specialties are newly interpreted classics and Butchers Cut. In our own pâtisserie
delightful dessert creations are made. Since 2024, we have been listed with 13 points at Gault & Millau.
We are looking for a
Sous Chef
to start immediately or by arrangement.

You bring the following:
Completed training as a cook EFZ
Several years of experience as Chef de Partie
Clean and thorough working method with a high quality standard
You like to take responsibility and support our head chef. In his
absence, you act as the contact person, lead the team and take on
administrative tasks.
Resilient and committed personality
German as a native language or very good German skills
