Deputy Head of Department Metal Construction
In this versatile role, you take responsibility for demanding metal construction projects – from planning to execution. You work closely with the head of department, the managing director and a motivated team to ensure smooth project progress. You plan and design with AutoCAD, prepare manufacturing documents, procure materials and coordinate appointments with architects, builders and other trades. You are present on construction sites, take measurements and maintain direct contact with customers – quality and reliability are your hallmarks.
For this position, you bring a completed apprenticeship as a metal construction draughtsman EFZ or metalworker EFZ as well as further training as a metal construction master, workshop manager, project manager or similar. Experience in project management and CAD is central, as is a confident use of MS Office and very good German language skills.
