Electroplating/Galvanoplasty Technician (M/F/X) 100%

Workplace: 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds

Your responsibilities

• Set up the operating procedures for bath processes and carry out the treatments
• Maintain, analyse and correct the baths of the automatic line and the 2 manual lines
• Program the automatic line
• Plan and carry out the replacement of preparation baths
• Check the appearance and thickness of deposits, then write reports
• Manage effluent treatment
• Ensure the proper functioning of installations and the safety of the products used
• Manage chemical product stocks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, in connection with quality and production

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma in electroplating or equivalent qualification. Higher education is an asset.
• Proven experience in electroplating, ideally in watchmaking or microtechnology, would be an advantage
• Mastery of bath analysis and correction and deposit controls
• Knowledge of programming and operating an automatic line
• Good knowledge of safety rules related to chemical products
• Comfortable with IT tools (ERP, MS Office)
• Rigour, autonomy and a strong sense of safety and quality
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and team spirit
