Logistic Solutions takes care of goods and shipments that arrive on site, are stored and distributed here, or leave the location. As a Warehouse Operational Services employee in Basel, you are responsible for the operational processes in the logistics centre Building 41. The tasks include handling
export orders, destructions, and portioning of various products.
The perfect candidate has completed vocational training as a Logistics Specialist EFZ, holds a valid forklift operator's licence, and has 3 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical logistics. Very good PC and
German skills complete your profile.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the correct operational handling of processes (export / destruction / portioning) in compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP, dangerous goods, etc.)
• Independent execution of destruction orders
• Independent execution of shipping and picking orders (export)
• Independent execution of portioning of raw materials and products
• Independent execution of bookings in various SAP systems and in the BLS
• Preparing and checking documents for cabin cleaning, the portioning process, and shipping and picking orders (export) according to GMP
• Assisting with maintenance work, identifying and resolving malfunctions
• Proactive involvement in process optimisation, quality improvements, and revision of specification documents
• Providing cross-group support within Logistic Solutions as needed
• Professional support during audits and inspections
• Maintaining contact with operations, purchasers, disposal companies, and workshops
• Compliance with safety regulations and GMP instructions
• Ensuring efficient and customer-oriented service delivery
Must-haves:
• Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist (EFZ) or equivalent.
• Completed forklift operator's licence.
• Excellent PC skills (SAP, Office, and other applications)
• 3 years of professional experience in logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
• Excellent written and spoken German skills are required
• Good business acumen, service-oriented, and highly flexible
• High degree of structured and independent work style
• Strong customer focus, professional and proactive approach to all stakeholders
• Structured, focused, and organised work style, assertive, motivated, independent, and resilient.
Nice to have:
• Training in the field of dangerous goods
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Experience in GMP/GDP environments
