- Beaufsichtigung und Betreuung der Kinder im Hortalltag.
- Unterstützung der Hortbetreuenden im Alltag.
- Zusammenarbeit mit Eltern und dem Hortteam.
Skills
- Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Kindern ist erforderlich.
- Freude an einer Tätigkeit in einem lebhaften Umfeld.
- Gute Umgangsformen und Deutschkenntnisse sind wichtig.

About the job
The municipality of Birmensdorf is located in a rural, natural yet urban environment near the city of Zurich and is excellently connected by public transport (S14 and S5 from Zurich main station in 15 minutes).The primary school Birmensdorf is a growing school with 9 kindergarten and 25 primary school classes and supplementary day care structures. The classes are taught in decentralised kindergartens and a central, shared primary school facility with four school buildings.
AFTER-SCHOOL CARE ASSISTANT
After-school care location Letten from August 2026
approx. 11% (deployment during school hours) Tuesday and Thursday midday
Your tasks:
• Supervision and care of the children and active participation in the daily after-school care routine
• Support of the after-school care staff in everyday tasks
• Completion of household duties
• Preparation and distribution of meals
• Collaboration with the after-school care team
• Cooperation with parents and guardians
You bring:
• Experience in caring for children
• Enjoyment of working in a lively environment
• Reliability and flexibility
• Calmness, openness and a good sense of humour
• Good manners and knowledge of German
