About the job
We are looking for a certified religious education teacher for the Evangelical Church Community Aadorf-Aawangen starting at the beginning of the new school year 2026/27.
Our church community includes the following districts: Aadorf, Ettenhausen, Guntershausen, Häuslenen, Wittenwil, Weiern, and Aawangen.
Our catechist, who has been with us for over 20 years, will retire at the end of this school year.
We are looking for:
A cheerful, uncomplicated, and child-loving person who enjoys teaching in cycles 1 and 2 and conveys the teaching material according to Curriculum 21 in an age- and level-appropriate manner. Religious education also includes jointly preparing church services in which students participate.
For the current school year 2025/26, the weekly schedule includes the following 6 lessons, which may change slightly in the new school year 2026/27:
- Tue, 07:30-08:15, 3rd grade Ettenhausen
- Tue, 13:30-14:15, 3rd/4th grade Häuslenen
- Tue, 15:15-16:00, 3rd grade Guntershausen
- Thu, 13:30-15:00 biweekly, 4th grade Guntershausen
- Thu, 13:30-15:00 biweekly, 4th grade Ettenhausen
- Fri, 07:30-08:15, 1st/2nd grade Guntershausen
