Responsibilities:
Leading a purchasing team in operational and project-related procurement.
Responsibility for procurement planning considering costs, quality and delivery deadlines.
Analysis of SAP key figures, deviations and performance indicators as well as initiation of appropriate measures.
Coordination of procurement within ongoing customer and development projects.
Alignment of supplier strategies with strategic purchasing and the responsible category managers.
Management of supplier evaluations, quality agreements and escalations in case of deviations.
Participation in S&OP, project and management meetings as well as deputising for the purchasing management.
Maintenance of purchasing guidelines and support during the SAP S/4HANA migration.
Qualifications:
Completed studies in industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable field.
Several years of leadership experience in industrial purchasing, ideally with responsibility for project procurement.
Sound knowledge in managing suppliers and industrial procurement processes.
Very good user knowledge of SAP MM/WM as well as MS Office.
Confident appearance in negotiations and in enforcing agreed quality and delivery targets.
Analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style.
Willingness to undertake occasional national and international business trips of around 10%.
Fluent German and good English skills.
