Chief Resident in General Medicine or Paediatrics at DISA
The Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division (DISA) is seeking an experienced somatic physician between 70% and 100% employment.
Context
DISA is an interdisciplinary somatic consultation service for adolescents aged 12 to 20 years, who face questions or difficulties related to their health: overall health, sexual health, eating disorders, functional disorders, gender diversity, etc.
DISA is part of the Lausanne University Hospital Centre (CHUV), which is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Mission
- You collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and conduct investigations, somatic assessments, and management of various adolescent issues, while benefiting from supervision and training provided by any university institution
- You participate in the clinical activities of DISA
- You supervise daily the clinical activities of assistant doctors
- You supervise the clinical activity of the referring physician for external mandates
- You engage in prevention actions in which DISA is involved
- You participate in DISA's training activities (DFME colloquium, block courses, etc.)
- You collaborate as needed in research activities set up.
Profile
- You hold a Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent title recognised by MEBEKO; your FMH in general internal medicine or paediatrics is an asset
- You have several years of experience in one or more of the following fields: paediatrics, internal medicine, general medicine (open to future primary care physicians)
- You are accustomed to teamwork and have good communication skills
- You have experience in working with adolescents (clubs, youth movements, etc.) and/or experience in outpatient care.
