Are you motivated by the thought that customers receive their occupational benefits efficiently and reliably? Have you always wanted to work in an environment where you independently assess complex benefit cases and actively shape processes?

In this role, you strengthen the Claims Life business area for corporate client collective foundation claims at Zurich Switzerland and are part of the Standard Benefits team. You work in a team with eight motivated colleagues, contribute your expertise in handling benefit cases and continuously develop it further. In doing so, you perfect the implementation of processes and help ensure that our customers can rely on a professional and reliable handling of their claims.

What to expect

• You review and assess benefit claims in cases of incapacity for work based on regulatory foundations.
• You obtain medical records, powers of attorney and insurance files, assess medical facts and initiate the necessary steps in the benefit process.
• You coordinate cooperation with social and private insurers as well as other internal and external stakeholders and assess the need for case management measures.
• You actively manage your benefit cases throughout the entire process, set revisions and follow-ups and ensure their timely processing.
• You advise insured persons, employers as well as internal and external partners by phone and in writing, ensuring customer-oriented, transparent and timely case handling.

What distinguishes you

• Completed training in insurance or comparable qualification with a focus on occupational benefits.
• Several years of experience in handling claims, ideally in the occupational benefits (BVG) sector.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills to convey complex matters clearly.
• Ability to implement processes efficiently and continuously improve them.
• Team spirit and willingness to actively contribute to collaboration and the success of the team.
