We are a rapidly expanding and innovative SME in the medical and banking sectors as well as in the integration environment of complex cloud projects. Our core business in medicine lies in the development and operation of Switzerland's most advanced medical software amétiq siMed and the unique medical ecosystem amétiq cloud with over 7,000 users. Your Role
You have a key role in which you can help shape a highly secure and modern IT architecture while being very close to the technical implementation. In this position, you bridge the gap between strategic architecture, stable system landscape, and modern cyber security. You evaluate forward-looking technologies, optimise the architecture for greater efficiency in development and operations through gradual modernisation, and actively participate in implementation. You work on an equal footing with our system engineers, administration, and our in-house system provider.
Your Tasks
- Architecture & Innovation: You design and take responsibility for optimising our IT architecture, evaluate new technologies, and drive the further development of our infrastructure.
- Security & Identity Management: You maintain the security of our architecture at a high level, secure data flows, and design modern identity and access structures (IDP).
- Hands-on Integration: You not only design but also actively contribute by directly implementing and integrating new basic structures.
- System & Provider Interface: You work closely and in partnership with the system engineers and administrators and manage the collaboration with our system provider within the same corporate structure.
- Data & Analytics: You design and optimise high-performance data architectures for complex databases and data-intensive workloads (data pipelining).
- Quality & Load Testing: With your understanding of modern testing methods and load tests, you ensure the performance and resilience of the systems under real conditions.
- Questioning Structures: You have the courage and expertise to constructively question and optimise existing structures ("challenging systems").
Your Profile
- Infrastructure & System Proximity: You have a strong passion for IT infrastructures and modern tools; working close to the operational system landscape excites you.
- Security & IDP Expert: You have solid, strong knowledge in IT security as well as in the design and management of identity provider structures (preferably with Keycloak and MS Entra).
- Data & Tool Know-how: You are very familiar with databases and data flows and ideally bring experience with tools such as Apache Spark and Apache NiFi.
- Repository & Code Understanding: You are familiar with the structured storage and integration of system structures in software repositories (e.g. Git).
- Container & Orchestration: You possess solid basic knowledge in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Future Technologies: You have a strong interest in trends such as "Artificial Intelligence" (AI) and the ability to assess their benefits for infrastructure.
- Mindset: You are a strong team player who quickly understands complex dependencies and enjoys actively shaping technological standards.
What Awaits You
- A close, partnership-based collaboration with an established system provider within the same corporate structure – for short communication paths and maximum synergies.
- Direct scope for design with modern tools and platforms (Kubernetes, Keycloak, Spark, Apache NiFi as well as forward-looking AI applications).
- With us, the culture of questioning existing structures and gradually modernising is expressly encouraged – your ideas will change the architecture of tomorrow.
- Fair and market-appropriate remuneration.
- Regular employee information events and team events, aperitifs, annual winter sports day, etc.
- Commitment to social responsibility: Part of our profit is used for projects proposed and selected by employees.
- Modern workplaces, flexible working arrangements in the office and at home.
- Central workplace – only 150 metres from Pfäffikon SZ station – with diverse catering options and local recreation by the lake.
- Free parking spaces in the underground garage and around the office.
- Varied options for lunch catering and local recreation by the lakeside (only 10 minutes on foot).
