Co-Team Leader Wastewater (a)
- 07 September 2026
- 60 – 70%
- Permanent position
- German (Intermediate)
About the job
Two team leaders, one team, a shared responsibility: This is the new leadership model that you build from the ground up with your tandem partner - with ideas, openness and the courage to try new things. This collaboration begins already during the application process when you get to know your tandem partner - the person with whom you will develop people and topics further.
Your tasks
- Based on an equal and partnership-based collaboration with your co-team leader, you take on the disciplinary and professional leadership of eight specialists, promote their development and support them as a contact person in content-related questions.
- Do you want to actively shape processes? With us, you will further develop the wastewater department strategy and help design efficient, digital team processes - from idea to implementation.
- You contribute to working groups and are responsible for specialist and organisational projects, taking a stance on new laws, action plans and campaigns from the federal and cantonal authorities.
- Municipalities and associations rely on you: You accompany and approve General Drainage Plans (GDP), supervise municipal wastewater treatment plants and assess building applications.
- You provide professional support for industrial and commercial wastewater - you approve pre-treatment projects, issue the necessary discharge permits and assist companies with their projects.
Your profile
- You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in engineering, environmental or natural sciences - or a comparable qualification with the necessary expertise for this role.
- You bring several years of experience in demanding specialist processing, especially in water protection.
- A model like co-leadership thrives on openness and flexibility - you see the opportunity to help shape responsibilities in tandem from the ground up, rather than adopting a finished concept.
- Whether you want to take the step into your first leadership role or already have some leadership experience - both are a good foundation with us.
- You communicate closely with administration, professional associations and the public and keep an overview even when interacting with different stakeholders.
