About the job
As a service intern, you ensure optimal guest care and a smooth service process, which also includes:
- Attending to guests from reception to farewell and actively shaping a positive overall experience
- Ensuring high guest satisfaction in your own area and professional handling of feedback
- Forwarding guest complaints to the responsible departments and supporting their resolution
- Active assistance in food and beverage service while adhering to the specified standards
- Preparation of mise en place as well as support in organising a smooth service process
- Support with cleaning tasks, daily duties and assignments in the banquet area including preparation and follow-up
You are in training at a recognised Swiss hotel management school and have initial contact with service. Additionally, you bring:
- Ongoing training at a Swiss hotel management school recognised by the L-GAV
- Initial practical experience in gastronomy or hospitality is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of service and ideally experience with a cash register system
- Structured, reliable and responsible working style
- Open, communicative personality with joy in dealing with international guests
- Fluent German skills and very good English skills, additional languages are an advantage
