As an innovation and technology leader, Siemens Digital Industries supports our partners in fully exploiting the potential of digitalisation and automation. The DI trainee programme is designed for 30 months and includes at least three assignments in which you will get to know the various business areas of Digital Industries more closely. Depending on operational possibilities as well as the skills and interests of the trainees, the assignments can be completed in different areas of responsibility. Training and further education are highly valued.

Your new tasks
- Familiarisation with the entire product portfolio of Digital Industries
- Building sound knowledge in the areas of automation and/or drive technology
- Getting to know all relevant tools and processes of service, sales and product management
- Deepening, applying and consolidating the acquired knowledge in various departments and projects (e.g. sales consulting, product management, project management and service)
- Support by a mentor as well as building a comprehensive network
- Preparation for a demanding position following the two-and-a-half-year programme depending on personal strengths and preferences
Your talents and experience
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (FH/university) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study with above-average academic record
- Initial professional experience in a relevant field (e.g. project management, sales)
- Strong interest in operational, technical tasks
- High resilience and willingness to perform at a high level
- Team player with strong communication skills, high social competence and a structured way of working
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; French skills are an advantage
- Start from September 2026 or by arrangement
