The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega provides professional medical assistance from the air around the clock to patients in Switzerland and worldwide. It is a non-profit and private foundation supported by more than 3.7 million patrons.
Would you like to pursue your fascination for helicopter aviation as a helicopter mechanic? We offer you the opportunity to complete a practical secondary training. From March 2027, we are looking for a team-oriented person who sees their professional future in the technical environment of the helicopter industry. The workplace is expected to be at Zurich Airport until the end of 2030, then in Central Switzerland.

These activities will inspire you
- Learning new technical skills through a three-year secondary training as a helicopter mechanic according to the guidelines of the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA and the requirements of the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA
- Independent deepening of assigned tasks according to specifications (further information and video at: https://www.rega.ch/ueber-uns/arbeiten-bei-der-rega/zweitausbildung-helikoptermechaniker/-in)
- Taking on demanding maintenance tasks at the Rega Centre at Zurich Airport as well as occasionally at the nationwide Rega bases
What distinguishes you
- Completed technical apprenticeship (according to SVFB)
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering and/or electronics
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (at least B2 level)
- Reliable, flexible and proactive personality
- Driving licence category B
