What to expect:

• Conducting procurement procedures according to IVöB including documentation
• Analysis of IT procurement data to identify savings and bundling potentials
• Development and implementation of category strategies for IT infrastructure, software, cloud, SaaS and services
• Negotiation and optimisation of framework, licence, maintenance and SaaS contracts considering
• SLA, data protection and compliance
• Active supplier management including market analyses, supplier evaluation and supplier consolidation

What you should bring:

• Several years of professional experience (>5 years) as a Category Manager, strategic purchaser or comparable role in the IT environment
• Proven experience in public procurement (IVöB or BöB) with independently conducted award and tender procedures (including simap.ch)
• Sound knowledge of IT categories such as software licences, SaaS, cloud services, IT services as well as maintenance and service contracts
• Strong contract and negotiation skills as well as confident handling of spend analyses and procurement-relevant key figures
• Fluent German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
