Our client is a family-run company in mechanical manufacturing. For the company headquarters in the Waldenburg area (BL), we are looking for a motivated, reliable and quality-conscious individual.

Are you skilled with your hands, enjoy getting involved yourself and have solid expertise in mechanical manufacturing? Do you like trying out new things and want to improve processes? Then a varied role with development opportunities awaits you: You will actively work in manufacturing, support the team leader in daily business and represent them during absences. In addition, you will contribute your expertise to improvement projects and play an important role in quality assurance and process optimisation.

• Set up and optimise machines and equipment
• Instruct and accompany machine operators
• Actively participate in mechanical manufacturing and processing
• Carry out first-piece, intermediate and quality inspections
• Contribute expertise to improvement and optimisation projects
• Test and assess new ideas, methods and technologies
• Support the team leader with technical challenges and develop solutions together

To bring your full energy, you bring the following:

• Basic training as a polymechanic or industrial mechanic
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical manufacturing and processing
• Good knowledge of machining, manufacturing and measurement technology
• Interest in automation, new technologies and process optimisation
• Technical understanding, manual dexterity and a hands-on mentality
• Communication skills, empathy and social competence
• Enthusiasm and enjoyment of teamwork
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form as well as good IT skills
• Ideal age due to team constellation: 28 - 45 years
