The Effingen School Home specialises in the care and education of children and young people of average intelligence with socio-emotional impairments, employing 75 staff members. We offer 44 school and residential places throughout 365 days with a diverse range of services including animal-assisted interventions.
Responsibilities:
Care of children and young people in everyday life within a residential group on a shift basis
Promotion of clients’ personal skills
Participation in the preparation and implementation of camps, working groups, projects and other activities
Interdisciplinary collaboration
Case responsibility within the client system as a key contact person
Support of staff in training
Work in accordance with LOA, New Authority and Grisons standards
Profile:
Successfully completed studies in social pedagogy HF or FH
Flexible, resilient, responsible with enthusiasm for a demanding role
Positive attitude, empathy, ability to reflect, resilience, ability to accept criticism and humour
Willingness to work irregular hours (weekend shifts and night on-call duty)
