To strengthen our team in the field of data and AI, we are looking for you as our motivated and committed Data Engineer & BI Specialist (m/f) 80-100%, workplace in Frauenfeld, St. Gallen, Zurich or Basel

Your tasks

• Further development and operation of HRS's data platform on Microsoft Fabric
• Design of the structure and architecture of the data landscape with regard to data models, data flows, data quality and security
• Analysis and migration of data stocks from legacy systems
• Hands-on data engineering: e.g. designing and building data pipelines, connecting source systems
• Support in the business analysis of solutions for the specialist departments of construction cost planning, real estate development, realisation with regard to data and interfaces
• Maintenance and support in the redevelopment of BI reports and dashboards in PowerBI as well as web applications with AI-supported methods (Agentic Coding)

Your profile:

• Degree in business informatics, computer science, data science, business administration or comparable (Bachelor or Master FH/Uni, ideally completed)
• Very good knowledge of ETL/ELT: extraction, transformation, data imports and data cleansing
• Experience with data warehousing concepts
• Practical experience with data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or Databricks)
• Basic understanding and affinity for data security (access rights, role models, encryption and secure handling of personal data)
• Very good knowledge of SQL (ideally including dbt) as well as Python
• Experience with agile development processes and CI/CD (Git, build pipelines) is an advantage
• High initiative and willingness to familiarise yourself with new subject areas
• Interest in business processes and issues in the construction and real estate industry
• Very good German skills, good English or French skills are an advantage
