For our client, an established company in the international transport and logistics sector in the canton of Zurich, we are immediately seeking, on a temporary basis for 3-4 months, a solution-oriented, flexible and team-oriented personality as
Freight Forwarding Specialist & International Dispatch 100% (a) Temporary, Zurich
Your tasks:
- Independent handling and coordination of international transports
- Obtaining and negotiating freight prices
- Coordination of appointments, transport requirements and individual transport details
- Creation and processing of all relevant transport and accompanying documents, especially delivery notes, CMR and waste accompanying documents
- Handling and coordination of customs formalities
- Checking transport invoices as well as processing complaints
- Supporting the team in daily business as well as taking on deputising duties
Your profile:
- Completed training as a road transport specialist, freight forwarding clerk or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the dispatch of international transports, ideally in load traffic
- Sound knowledge in customs clearance and goods tariff classification
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Italian and/or French skills are an advantage
- Good IT user skills and confident handling of MS Office
- Strong solution orientation, flexibility and ability to work in a team
- You keep an overview and act reliably even in hectic situations
- Quick comprehension, high resilience as well as precise and structured working methods
