The Kantonsschule Wiedikon is a larger Zurich secondary school with around 1300 students and 200 teachers. It offers four gymnasium profiles (classical languages, modern languages, arts, and PPP), a bilingual Matura program (German/English), and a specialized middle school (FMS). Since the 2024/25 school year, the school has two locations: the historic buildings on the Bühlhügel in the Zurich-Wiedikon district and the urban location on Hohlstrasse near the Hardbrücke. Starting in the fall semester 2025/26, positions as Secondary School Teacher mbA for French totaling approximately 400% are to be filled.
Your tasks
- You will teach French at our school with a workload of at least 70%
- You will promote the French language, literature, and culture
- You will be involved in the subject group as well as in school development and take on special school duties (class teacher, subject head, participation in commissions and working groups)
Your profile
- Open, team-oriented, and motivated personality
- Enjoyment in contributing to a diverse and lively school life
- Completed university degree
- Teaching diploma for Matura schools, subject French (or teaching diploma exam imminent)
- Experience teaching at gymnasium level
