The University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the UPZ is one of the leading institutions in Switzerland, ensuring outpatient, day-patient and inpatient psychiatric care as well as emergency care for children and adolescents in the canton of Bern and parts of the cantons of Solothurn and Fribourg. As a university clinic, it also has an extended mandate in supraregional specialised care as well as in teaching and research. In the management of the child and adolescent forensic department, you can expect a varied, paid internship at 20%, in which you will assist in the development and organisation of a training curriculum for youth welfare staff. You will gain exciting insights into child and adolescent forensics as well as into the organisation of further training and continuing education. Additionally, you will support our secretariat once a week with general administrative tasks. You will be part of a committed team, innovative approaches and a supportive working atmosphere. The internship offers you the opportunity to meaningfully combine your studies with practical experience and to take on responsible tasks.

Your tasks

• You assist in the development, organisation and implementation of a training curriculum for youth welfare staff
• You coordinate communication with registered participants and take care of the preparation and follow-up of the seminars
• You support the administration around the curriculum and the twelve seminar days, especially with registrations, scheduling and preparation of documents
• You support the secretariat once a week with general administrative tasks
• You contribute to the smooth organisational implementation of the training offers

Your profile

• You are studying psychology or another relevant subject
• You have good IT skills and are confident in using Word, Excel and Outlook
• You work in a structured, careful and independent manner and keep an overview even with several tasks
• You enjoy communicating, present yourself reliably and professionally and enjoy contact with different people
• You work discreetly and responsibly
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
