About the job

As part of a major transformation and modernisation programme of its Data & Business Intelligence environment, our client, a leading organisation based in Lausanne, is seeking 3 Data Analytics Engineers expert in Microsoft Fabric & Power BI.

You will work on a strategic project migrating from Tableau to Power BI, aiming to design, develop and deploy high-performance, scalable analytical solutions tailored to business needs.

You will join a dynamic Data team and play a key role in accelerating this technological transformation.

Data Analytics Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI (M/F)

Your responsibilities

As a Data Analytics Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

BI Development & Data Visualisation

• Design, develop and deploy complex interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Actively participate in migrating existing solutions from Tableau to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

• Develop robust, high-performance and reusable semantic models.

• Create and optimise advanced measures and calculations in DAX.

• Ensure the quality, relevance and performance of the developed visualisations.

Data Engineering & Modelling

• Collect, transform, clean and structure data from various sources.

• Design and maintain optimised data models (Star Schema, Datamarts).

• Utilise Microsoft Fabric features to support the modernisation of the Data architecture.

• Implement best practices for data quality, governance and security.

• Optimise the performance of datasets and Power BI reports.

Deployment & Support

• Administer and manage Power BI Service environments (workspaces, RLS/OLS, data refresh).

• Contribute to discussions on the evolution of BI architecture and analytical solutions.

• Support, train and advise business users and Data Analysts.

• Provide technical and methodological expertise to internal teams.

• Contribute to the adoption of new tools and the success of the Data transformation.

Your profile

• Proven expert-level experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

• Excellent command of DAX, Power Query and data modelling.

• Strong experience in designing and deploying complex dashboards.

• Demonstrated ability to rapidly deliver quality BI solutions in demanding environments.

• Very good knowledge of BI architectures, semantic models and data governance principles.

• Good knowledge of Tableau.

• Practical experience migrating from Tableau to Power BI / Microsoft Fabric is a major asset.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and performance optimisation skills.

• Autonomy, rigour, proactivity and ability to work in a team.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, pedagogical sense and ability to support users with varying technical levels.

• Fluent French is essential. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
