Do you understand processes, read data and get things flying? Then you are in the right place with us! The Performance Management & Systems Development team ensures that flight operations at Zurich Airport remain punctual and efficient. We analyse capacity, processes and performance, further develop the necessary systems and data, and work together with air traffic control, airlines and other partners to develop solutions for stable operations. As a Business & Data Analyst, you transform operational questions into concrete solutions and accompany them into the daily routine of our operational sites.

Your job destination

• You analyse operational processes, systems and data and derive concrete improvements from them
• You gather professional requirements and translate them into understandable specifications for development teams
• You take professional responsibility for selected applications, further develop their roadmap and accompany new functions from the idea to operation
• You work closely with internal and external development teams and contribute to reviews, tests and approvals
• You plan trials in operational flight operations, evaluate them based on data and prepare decision-making bases for specialist committees
• You represent Zurich Airport in national and international expert groups and, if necessary, take over the management of working groups or projects

Your skills in your luggage

• Completed studies in aviation, business informatics, data science, business engineering or a comparable field
• You bring experience in business analysis or requirements engineering and ideally know agile software development
• Data is a tool for you: you prepare, analyse and visualise it confidently with Power BI, ideally also with Python and Databricks
• You quickly grasp complex relationships, structure them and explain them clearly, whether in operations or management
• You are interested in airport processes and European developments in air traffic
• You tackle topics with initiative and drive them forward together with different partners. Experience in project management is a plus
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
