As a lecturer at the Institute for Risk & Insurance (Team Risk Governance & Business Transformation), you actively shape the further development of the institute. You appreciate an environment where you can combine entrepreneurial initiative and practical relevance with scientific excellence. You take responsibility in all four areas of performance: continuing education, teaching, research & development, and services.
Your tasks include:
- Program management and teaching in continuing education, especially in the CAS Law, Regulation and Risk Management for Insurance Companies
- Development and implementation of webinars or short training sessions on selected focus topics
- Teaching at the Bachelor (BSc) and Master (MSc) levels (e.g., lectures on Insurance Management or Business Mathematics) as well as supervising theses
- Acquisition and management of research projects in collaboration with business partners as well as within the framework of Innosuisse projects
- Publication activities in the field of Risk & Insurance (e.g., professional journals, studies, practice-oriented publications)
- Active representation of the institute as well as building and maintaining a network in the Swiss insurance market
For this role, you bring the following qualifications:
- Several years of professional experience in the insurance environment, which you want to contribute to teaching, continuing education, and project development.
- Doctorate in a thematically relevant field.
- Enjoy working independently and collaborating in an environment that values both professional and didactic expertise as well as entrepreneurial activity.
- Didactic qualification and experience or the motivation to acquire it.
- Interest in building and maintaining contacts in the industry as well as initiating projects.
