Cloud is more than just infrastructure in a hyperscaler data centre for you? You think in architectures, connect existing systems with modern cloud services, and develop solutions that are secure, scalable, and sustainable in the long term.
As an Azure Cloud Architect, you actively shape demanding cloud transformations – from the initial idea through architecture to successful implementation at the customer.

You are not only responsible for individual systems but design cloud landscapes holistically. Architecture, security, automation, modern platforms, and customer consulting come together here – with plenty of room for technical responsibility and personal development.
Responsibilities:
You develop Azure architectures that sensibly combine technology, security, and business requirements.
You lay the foundation for successful cloud transformations with landing zones, governance, and cloud foundations.
You accompany customers during migrations and specifically develop existing IT landscapes towards hybrid or cloud.
You connect on-premises and Azure through modern network and connectivity concepts.
You consider security not as an add-on but as an integral part of every architecture.
You automate infrastructure with Terraform or Bicep and rely on repeatable, standardised deployments.
You use modern Azure technologies such as Kubernetes, Container Apps, Functions, and PaaS services.
You develop integration and API architectures for modern digital solutions.
You ensure that monitoring, resilience, backup, and disaster recovery are considered from the outset.
You work directly with customers, moderate workshops, and jointly develop viable technical solutions.
You support exciting pre-sales projects and contribute your architectural expertise to new customer projects.
You develop Azure expertise and the cloud portfolio further together with other specialists.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud architectures.
A broad understanding of infrastructure, hybrid cloud, networking, identity, and security.
The ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear and understandable architectures.
Experience with Azure landing zones, governance, and established Azure best practices.
Practical knowledge of Terraform and/or Bicep.
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern automation.
Interest in cloud-native technologies, container platforms, and modern Azure services.
Enjoyment of customer contact, consulting, and technical workshops.
Initiative, responsibility, and enthusiasm to actively shape new technologies.
Very good German and good English skills.
