Who are we?

The Swiss Federal College for Vocational Education and Training (SFVET) is the Swiss expert organisation for vocational education and training. We offer training and continuing education for vocational education and training managers, conduct research projects on vocational education and training, contribute to the development of professions, and support international cooperation in vocational education and training. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (head office), Lausanne and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich.

Domain Specialist in Communication at 40%

Your responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement the external communication of SFVET, in line with the institutional strategy and guidelines
• Create, write and adapt content for various channels (website, social media, newsletter, media, etc.) and SFVET audiences
• Plan and carry out communication measures for SFVET events, in collaboration with project managers and relevant partners
• Manage media relations, particularly in French-speaking Switzerland, with active and responsive media work
• Coordinate and ensure internal communication of the College at the Renens site

Your profile

With excellent interpersonal skills, you represent SFVET professionally and confidently in various working groups and networks. You demonstrate autonomy, flexibility and a good team spirit.

You have higher education in communication, public relations, journalism or a comparable field, as well as relevant professional experience in institutional communication.

You possess excellent writing skills in French, visual design skills and a good knowledge of the Swiss vocational education landscape. You are comfortable with social media and master the principles of digital communication. You have a good command of another national language as well as English.

Your organisational skills and project management abilities enable you to plan and implement communication measures for various events. You know how to coordinate multiple stakeholders and work effectively with internal and external partners.
