For the further development of our IT architecture, we are looking for an experienced leader with strategic foresight and a solid understanding of architecture and technology.In this key position, you lead and develop the group-wide enterprise architecture function and are responsible for technology management as well as architecture governance.
Together with your team, you shape the long-term development of our IT landscape and ensure that business strategy, processes, data, applications, and technologies follow a common target vision.
This creates the foundation for stable, secure, and future-proof solutions.
Head of Enterprise Architecture and Technology Management (m/f/d)
What can you expect?
- Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of a team of 12 enterprise and domain architects
- Strategic further development of the IT landscape with around 500 business applications and a broad technology portfolio, aligned with the group and IT strategy
- Management of the IT landscape considering business value, standardisation, complexity, risks, and costs
- Responsibility for architecture and technology governance including chairing the architecture and technology board
- Further development of the architecture metamodel, methods, standards, and architectural principles of the Raiffeisen Group
- Responsibility for technology management including technology portfolio, technology standards, and lifecycle management of the group-wide technology stack
- Co-design of the IT strategy as well as architectural control of strategic transformation initiatives and ensuring architecture-compliant solutions
- Assessment of relevant technological developments, especially in the areas of cloud, platforms, and artificial intelligence, and their sustainable integration into architecture, governance, and operating models
- Active stakeholder management across business, IT, security, leadership committees, and external partners as well as preparation of convincing decision-making bases
What do you bring with you?
- University degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field; further training in enterprise architecture, technology management, or business administration is an advantage
- Several years of leadership and budget responsibility in a demanding IT environment
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture as well as in the strategic development and management of complex IT landscapes
- Demonstrable success in developing and implementing architecture strategies, target visions, and roadmaps as well as in building effective architecture and technology governance
- Solid understanding of modern software development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD as well as experience with cloud and platform architectures
- Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage and a good understanding of security, compliance, operational risks, and resilience
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to reconcile different interests and consistently drive change forward
- Confident appearance, high analytical competence, and convincing communication at all hierarchical levels up to executive management; very good German skills, at least level C1.
