Job description
Responsible for invoicing, residents' medical expenses, and debtor management
Presence required every day, Monday to Friday
Your main activities:
EMS service invoicing
- Carry out invoicing of all services provided to residents: accommodation, care, external services, guarantee request at each admission.
- Check invoiced data (accuracy and compliance) and send invoices
Management of residents' medical expenses
On behalf of residents benefiting from SPC
- Verify and perform administrative follow-up of doctors', pharmacy, laboratory, and other therapists' invoices
- Coordinate with insurers (LAMal and supplementary)
- Follow up on reimbursements
- Manage re-invoicing to residents or third-party payers
Management of debtors and disputes
- Monitor debtor accounts and provide a quarterly status report
- Enter, track, and reconcile payments
- Analyze balances, contact debtors, and set up payment plans if necessary
- Manage monthly reminders, summons, legal actions, and follow up
- Monitor and settle account balances with the estates of deceased residents
Participation in closing
- Reconcile debtor accounts and medical expenses
Profile sought
Your profile:
- Commercial employee CFC or mandatory commercial & administrative training;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience within an EMS in Switzerland is an asset;
- Flexibility and sense of responsibility;
- Good management of deadlines and priorities;
- Very good service orientation and respect for confidentiality;
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and independently;
- Good knowledge of general accounting;
- Excellent writing skills in French;
- Very good computer skills in MS Office and Sadies (an asset).
