Clinical Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Department
The management of the Department of Interdisciplinary Centres (DCI) is seeking a clinical pharmacist at a 50% rate, to ensure clinical pharmacy activities in the cantonal antimicrobial stewardship programme, within the framework of a fixed-term contract from 1 August 2026 (or to be agreed) to 31 July 2028.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research and education.
The Pharmacy Department of the CHUV is responsible for the manufacture and supply of pharmaceutical products to the hospital, the responsibility for the rational use of medicines, as well as teaching and research in the field of hospital pharmacy.
Mission
- You ensure clinical pharmacy activities in the cantonal antimicrobial stewardship programme
- You contribute to the development of various databases related to the use of medicines at the CHUV, notably the drug reference database
- You participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training, as well as continuing education.
Profile
- You hold a federal diploma as a pharmacist, or an equivalent qualification recognised by MEBEKO and an authorisation to practise in the canton of Vaud
- You have experience in antimicrobial stewardship or at least in clinical pharmacy (FPH title or equivalent) or hospital pharmacy (MAS or an FPH title in hospital pharmacy)
- You are autonomous and possess great scientific and professional rigour
- You have excellent communication skills, an open mind, and maintain a respectful and collaborative working attitude.
