The Special Education Center (HPSZ): One school - four locations. We teach and support our students from kindergarten age to school leaving in a holistic and individual way. Our diverse educational offerings enable good academic, social, and personal development. For the HPSZ Solothurn, we are looking for a deputy teacher for special education with a focus on behavior, 55%, from 1.2.2026 limited until 31.07.2026.

Your responsibility
- As a teacher, you support and accompany students with a focus on behavior during lessons and breaks.
- Together with the multiprofessional team, you are responsible for teaching, support planning, as well as organizational and administrative tasks related to class management.
- You work closely with the class teacher, parents, specialist offices, therapists, other institutions, and the school management.
- Your work assignments take place on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings as well as all day Friday.

Your profile
- You have completed training as a teacher in the field of special education, social pedagogy, and bring high psychological resilience, consistent pedagogical action, and genuine interest in relationship work.
- You show patience and the necessary sensitivity to engage with adolescents with challenging behaviors. In challenging situations, you remain confident, capable of acting, and solution-oriented.
- Your professional handling of escalations, boundary violations, and aggression distinguishes you as well as your ability to provide adolescents with orientation and structure. As a committed, creative, and enthusiastic person, you appreciate interdisciplinary teamwork and like to contribute to the further development of the school.
