This is how you ensure electricity in Switzerland
Our telecommunications networks are a central lifeline of the Swiss electricity supply.
With modern Network Management Systems (NMS), we monitor and control this infrastructure around the clock. In this role, you will work on exactly these systems – where stable operation and technical development come together. You will be part of an experienced team in the Network Operation Center (NOC) and take on a hybrid role between operation, engineering, and system maintenance of our OSS/NMS platforms.
Your tasks include, among others:

- Design and implementation of the integration of NMS systems into existing and future surrounding systems via modern and standardised interfaces
- Development and further development of tools, automations, and monitoring logics for efficient and largely digitalised operation
- Building and further developing a structured, consistent, and digitally usable network and system documentation
- Support during expansions, migrations, releases, and introductions of NMS components
- Support of implementations including acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) and commissioning
- Planning and implementation of updates, patches, and technical improvements in coordination with the operations teams
- Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex faults together with operations, engineering, and suppliers
- Ensuring that the systems comply with internal guidelines and cybersecurity requirements (in cooperation with specialised departments)
This is what makes you stand out
You are characterised by:
- Experience in the operation or engineering of NMS, OSS, or monitoring systems
- Understanding of modern interfaces and integration concepts in the environment of NMS and OSS systems
- Technical understanding of networks and Linux-based platforms
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and enjoyment in connecting engineering and operational requirements
- Enjoyment in collaborating with operations, engineering, and suppliers
- Very good German skills and good English skills
Advantageous but not essential:
- Knowledge in fault, performance, configuration, or inventory management
- Experience in building or further developing tools, automations, and digital technical documentation
- Experience in the operation or engineering of telecommunications networks
- Knowledge in the area of IP/MPLS and segment routing
- Knowledge and practical experience in the area of WDM
- Knowledge of ITIL Foundation, certification is an advantage
This is how we inspire you
We offer you varied and exciting tasks in a company unique to Switzerland and a modern working environment in close proximity to Aarau station. In addition, you benefit from the following perks:
- Flexible working hours (42 hours per week) including the possibility of home office
- 25-30 days of holiday as well as company holidays between Christmas and New Year
- Progressive social benefits and an attractive pension fund
- Opportunities for professional development
- Financial and/or time support for internal or external training
- Competitive salary and reward for good performance
