The Center for Health, Policy, and Economics (CHPE) is an interdisciplinary research centre of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. Research at CHPE deals with health systems, health policy and health economics as well as current issues in healthcare.
We are looking for a coordinator for the Center for Health, Policy and Economics (60-70%) starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Coordinator Center for Health, Policy and Economics (60-70%)
Area of responsibility
- Business control over ongoing projects and topics of the Center for Health, Policy and Economics (CHPE) at the faculty
- Collaboration on strategic questions regarding the further development of CHPE
- Collaboration with CHPE partner institutions, networking in the health sector
- Participation and collaboration in CHPE management meetings
- Organisation and execution of CHPE team meetings and events
- Collaboration in the communication of CHPE projects
- Collaboration in acquiring third-party funding and in writing research proposals
- Collaboration on strategic topics of CHPE, e.g. contributions on the HSPM platform of the European Observatory, management support in the activities of the Swiss Society of Health Economics (sggö) and the European Health Economics Association (EuHEA).
- Organisation, coordination, preparation of agendas for meetings, room organisation, minute-taking (management meetings, team meetings and research meetings)
- Administrative support of the CHPE professorships
Requirements
- Master's degree in health sciences, psychology, economics or a similar field
- Experience in project management or professional leadership of units
- Experience in scientific work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Very good German and English skills
- Independence and reliability
- Careful working style
- High social competence and ability to work in a team
