Today, we provide our services through our own subsidiaries throughout Europe. DB Cargo Schweiz GmbH, based in Glattbrugg, is part of this network and thus contributes to the further qualitative and quantitative growth of the network.

In this exciting position, you can expect the following tasks:

• Ensuring the proper administrative handling of disruptions and damage cases involving rail vehicles in compliance with defined processes and guidelines
• Checking and ensuring the completeness, plausibility, and accuracy of documentation as well as the seamless recording and tracking of all relevant measures
• Coordinating internal and external departments as well as issuing, monitoring, and following up on orders and measures until the vehicle is returned to operational service
• Ensuring smooth communication and coordination with the involved interfaces as well as continuously informing customers and stakeholders about the processing status, cost forecasts, and deadlines

You should bring the following requirements:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or technical apprenticeship with professional experience in clerical work
• Reliable, structured, and conscientious working style with a high sense of responsibility and safety awareness
• Strong process and rule orientation as well as the ability to consistently comply with specifications and guidelines
• Resilience and organisational talent, able to maintain an overview in hectic situations, set priorities, and coordinate multiple tasks on time
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a confident, target-group-appropriate manner towards internal and external parties
• Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills, especially English and Italian, are an advantage
