Day Clinic Wetzikon
The Clienia Psychiatry Centre Wetzikon (PZW), as an outpatient institution of Clienia Schlössli AG (Designated Medical Director Prof. Dr. med. Wolfram Kawohl), has a care mandate from the Canton of Zurich and operates outpatient clinics with a wide range of specialist consultations, two day clinics as well as a consultation and liaison psychiatric service. From Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, the PZW provides psychiatric emergency services for the Zurich Oberland region. The PZW is an outpatient training centre of category A (3 years).
Your Tasks
The position includes:
60 percent
- Assessments and psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatments in the Day Clinic Wetzikon, covering the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders
- Conducting psychotherapeutic groups within the interdisciplinary team and networking with external referrers
- Participation in the further development of the treatment concept
20-40 percent
- Broad outpatient activity including conducting assessment interviews as well as psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of all psychiatric disorders in the entire field of adult and geriatric psychiatry
- Participation in the outpatient clinic and involvement in emergency, consultation and liaison services
Your Profile
You have at least two years of inpatient psychiatric experience and have commenced psychotherapeutic training. We expect you to have an interest in outpatient psychiatric, psychotherapeutic and interdisciplinary work within the day clinic team, and especially enjoy leading therapeutic groups in the day clinic setting, ensuring the best possible and responsible patient care.

Recognition as a training centre for the specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy category A (3 years), for the focus on consultation and liaison psychiatry category D1-CL (1 year) as well as focus on geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy D1-A (1 year). There is the possibility of expert witness work on request.
