Job Description

Are you a passionate, entrepreneurially minded full stack developer who wants to build the analytical systems that orchestrate global energy flows? Your role

As a talented React developer, you will help us continue expanding our global analytics team, fuelled by the rich data generated by our inhouse end-to-end trading system as well as external datasets. We are growing rapidly and are looking for exceptional candidates to help us deliver on our mission. This role will have the opportunity to interface directly with the business.

As a member of the analytics team, located in Geneva, Switzerland, you will:

  • Building an exciting new platform for Identity and Permissions
  • Analyse the business and understand what use-cases are required for the disparate systems and how to best design for them.
  • Be part of a global team
  • Turning user feedback into actionable design improvements and bug fixes
  • Demonstrating prototypes and collecting user’s requirements and translating them into seamless UI/UX experiences
  • Implementation of clean, well-documented, tested, and extensible code to satisfy these requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of JavaScript development
  • 2+ years recent experience with React.js - Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Computer science principles
  • Understanding of Agile/Lean principles
  • Strong proficiency using modular JavaScript, async patterns, and DOM manipulation
  • Awareness of continuous integration and delivery concepts/technologies

Additional Information

Qualifications that will help you stand out

  • Experience in GraphQL is a plus
  • Experience in Reactive Extensions (RX) preferred
  • Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry
  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent field
  • French language skills an advantage
