Job title: Performance Coach

Location: Zurich

Opportunity: Full-Time, Permanent

 

The role of a Performance Coach is central to providing our customers with a safe, caring, professional and proactive service, focussed on supporting your clients with expertise and guidance to achieve their desired outcomes.

About the role

  • Instructing, supporting and motivating clients in a safe and professional manner to achieve their personal goals
  • Design and deliver 1-2-1 client training programmes / re-programming, as needed, to support and achieve Client goals
  • Deliver onsite assessments of health and training capability using the Westfield Health Wellbeing evaluation procedures and codes of conduct:
  • Conduct 1-2-1 reviews at required intervals to optimise client engagement, retention and personal outcomes
  • Proactively maintain high levels of engagement with clients to promote retention, joy, encouragement and motivation
  • Support and facilitate ‘peripheral’ activities, inclusive but not exclusive to, events, presentations, talks, and all related activities to the services we provide
  • Provide weekly/monthly operational reporting metrics to the Performance Manager, for example, engagement statistics, service outcomes, satisfaction results, and activities carried out
  • Proactively contribute to the local calendar of events to support service development and design
  • Plan and lead group exercise classes, as required
  • Maintain up to date market knowledge of the wellbeing sector to support your role and the objectives of the Client
  • Actively support the development of other team members through involvement / leading educational activities, as required
  • Capability to work professionally and proactively within a team and support the day-to-day operation of the site
  • Consistently demonstrate a high degree of professionalism at all times
  • Perform all expected duties for your role to a high standard at all times
  • Follow all required policies and procedures set out by Westfield Health Wellbeing and the Client
  • Maintain up to date professional credentials
  • Positively demonstrate the Westfield Health Wellbeing values at all times
  • Service delivery / travel across the Client campus locations, within the specified city/region, is necessary

 

About you:

 

Education and Qualifications

  • Currently hold an industry certificate such as Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training/Fitness Instructing/Coaching
  • REPS or CIMSPA accredited Level 3 Personal Training qualification
  • Degree in Exercise or Sports Science related field

 

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of personal training/fitness coaching experience
  • Demonstrable experience in a corporate wellbeing environment is desired but not essential
  • A proven track record of successfully working individually to establish training needs, develop interventions to meet these needs, and deliver high-quality health and wellbeing solutions and intervention outcomes
  • Experience in teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability

 

Skills

  • Excellent presentation skills both to individual and group settings
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on high quality client experience
  • The ability to work independently and on one’s own initiative with little supervision
  • IT literate with experience and capability with Microsoft Office and other well known IT suites
  • Diligence, passion and motivation to provide the highest quality service to our Client
  • Ability to teach group-based activities
