The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coordinate our Housekeeping department and ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest readiness throughout the property.

This is an operational, hands-on position. The Housekeeping Supervisor is expected to work alongside the team and actively participate in cleaning guest rooms, public areas and other hotel spaces whenever required, in addition to carrying out supervisory responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who leads by example, is comfortable being involved in daily operations, and takes personal responsibility for maintaining our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and laundry
• Actively participate in cleaning guest rooms and hotel areas alongside the Housekeeping team
• Prepare team schedules and manage daily task allocation and operational priorities
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure Black Summit cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met
• Train, support and supervise Housekeeping team members
• Manage linen, amenities, cleaning products, equipment and housekeeping inventories
• Monitor productivity, working hours and departmental performance
• Identify and report maintenance issues and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Maintain room-status reports, checklists, Lost & Found procedures and other operational documentation
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
• Coordinate seasonal opening and closing preparations, inventories and deep-cleaning projects
• Work closely with the Resort Manager and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations
• Ensure the Housekeeping department operates efficiently, professionally, and with a strong focus on the guest experience

Your Profile

• Previous experience in Housekeeping, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment
• Communicating effectively in German is essential
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is an advantage
• Willingness to clean and work operationally alongside the team is essential
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
• Organised, reliable and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable leading a team while remaining actively involved in daily operations
• Flexible and willing to support the hotel according to operational needs
• Eligible to work in Switzerland; EU/EFTA passport holders are welcome to apply
• Must be available to start our training period on October 1st, 2026, pause work for most of November (seasonal closure), and start permanently once again at the end of November. This is a permanent position, not seasonal work.
