Senior Project Manager Technology Transfer (ID2023)
We're looking for a strategic innovation leader to join our Technology Transfer team and play a key role in defining how Digital and AI technologies shape our innovation strategy. They will be working at the intersection of Digital Health, Data, AI, and clinical innovation, helping set the strategic direction, and engaging with senior leadership, boards, stakeholders and global partners to turn emerging technologies into real-world impact.
- Effectively run the Strategy Fund resources by implementing lean processes
- Lead the project execution and delivery and help project teams maintain an overall project vision & scope with supporting project plans.
- Effectively communicate expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, continuously manage objectives, and hold project team members accountable for delivery.
- Confidently deal with governing bodies and senior organizational stakeholders
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Provide continuous review and improvement of the technology transfer process
- Manage the department marketing and communication activities
- Develops innovative approaches to continuously strengthen department goals
- Manage the organization of relevant governing meetings
- Act as first point of contact for any questions from stakeholders, providing regular feedback on an ongoing basis and escalating issues as needed
- Provide other aspects of project management as required by the needs of the organization
- Develop and implement commercial pathways (mainly for IP but not exclusively) together with the Development Incubator and IP office
- Improve the overall organizational travel process with other divisional travel coordinators
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; further education in project management is a plus
- Five to eight years of professional experience in project management in an international environment
- Fluency in English (writen and spoken), German aded value
Experience in:
- Driving Digital, Data, or AI-driven innovation or product development in healthcare, medtech, life sciences, or adjacent regulated environments
- Shaping innovation strategies, roadmaps, or portfolios involving digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, or data-driven technologies
- Working across technology, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate emerging technologies into scalable solutions
- Managing and delivering substantial financial resources such as research grants, innovation funds or incubator is a strong advantage
- Leading teams and junior project managers
- Managing relationships with project stakeholders, negotiating contracts and delivering successful project outcomes
Soft skills:
- Reliable and trustworthy, with strong project management skills, capable to work without supervision
- Strong organizational skills and a structured working style, setting priorities and working efficiently and accurately with attention to detail even in stressful situations
- Result oriented, motivated and energetic self-starter with the flexibility to adapt to and be comfortable in an evolving environment
