Quality Control Specialist
Join our team in Visp as a Quality Control Specialist for a 7-month assignment (41 hours/week), where you will serve as the operational backbone for critical client campaigns, handling compliance workflows and project tracking to help deliver life-changing biopharmaceuticals.
Site‑based with limited flexibility
This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining clear customer communication and supporting the preparation and oversight of manufacturing campaigns.
- Ensure strict GMP compliance through active management of change requests and deviation investigations.
- Support key quality milestones by assisting during customer audits and regulatory inspections.
- Coordinate daily QC activities, independently prioritizing tasks to keep project timelines on track.
- Calculate, monitor, and report on QC project costs to maintain financial alignment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and laboratory teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the local QC unit.
What we are looking for:
- Master’s or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related Life Sciences field.
- Background or familiarity with Quality Control processes in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge of laboratory software and systems such as LIMS, TrackWise, or Documentum.
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; German language skills are a strong asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize dynamic project demands.
- A reliable, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills for stakeholder and customer interactions.
- Ability to step in quickly and thrive in a fast-paced CDMO environment under tight deadlines.
