CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides integrated facility management services on all continents with more than 60,000 employees. In Switzerland, the GWS division provides technical, infrastructural and commercial facility management services for clients from various industries.
For our growing Facility Management organisation at a client in Zürich we are looking for a:
Facilities Assistant Reception & Communications
Your main tasks:
- Provide high-class service and visitor experience, actively seeking ways to improve. Draft general communications to clients about upcoming works or projects and support the development of communications plans for facilities-related initiatives. Ensure daily updates on local webpages are current and relevant.
- Manage reception services, mailroom, logistics, stationery distribution, and lost and found processes.
- Oversee the appearance of the space, ensuring it is tidy and presentable. Conduct daily meeting room checks, log proactive tickets, and replenish stationery. Support event set-ups and manage on-site storage.
- Contribute to our safety culture by logging hazards, ensuring compliance with country-specific legislation, and abiding by CBRE & Client Health & Safety Policies. Report accidents and support site audits and building evacuation training.
- Actively engage with CBRE communications and announcements, building constructive and positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and supply partners. Participate in team huddles and monthly meetings with other EMEA offices to exchange ideas.
- Coordinate and supervise supplier personnel and subcontractors, ensuring satisfactory service delivery and compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Assist with incoming requests and bookings, contribute to proactive communication about upcoming spaces, and recommend initiatives to improve local operations and customer experience.
Your profile:
- Preferred higher education, Certificate in Marketing and Communication or similar.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Displays proactive day-to-day problem-solving with ownership and pride. Friendly demeanor with a positive "can-do" attitude. Creative thinking.
- Basic understanding of good health & safety practices; engages in a Health & Safety culture.
- High level of IT literacy. Ability to prioritize while engaging in self-development.
- Experience in internal communication and web design.
