Development Engineer
Development Engineer BU SEMI (100%)
As a member of the business unit SEMI you are developing vacuum valves and systems for the semiconductor industry. Our products are key elements for the next generation of computer chips that enable megatrends like digitalization, internet of things, 5g/6g or autonomous driving. Being very close to our customers all over the world and satisfying their specific demands is crucial for our business. Together with our product managers, project managers, project buyers and quality engineers, you will lead product developments to a technical and commercial success.
Responsibilities:

Product development and product responsibility in close cooperation with our product managers, sales subsidiaries and customers

Active participation in development and relocation projects

Support product tests in our laboratory

Creation and maintenance of manufacturing drawings, parts lists as well as technical documentation

Design reviews and optimization with manufacturing, supplier quality engineers and project buyers

Technical support in case of quality problems
Your profile:

Technical education or apprenticeship, ideally with an additional Bachelor or Master degree

Passion in developing concepts, prototyping and industrialization of mechanical or mechatronic products

2-3 years of professional experience preferred

Hands on, systematic and independent working style

Ability to work in highly agile project teams

Good CAD knowledge, advantageously Siemens NX

Fluent in English, German preferred

Willingness to travel in the range of 5-10%
