Product Manager
GSE Product Manager - BU Global Services
For its Global Services Business Unit (GSE), VAT is looking for a talented Product Manager with profound knowledge in market/business development, product portfolio management and customer strategy execution in an international high tech business environment, preferably in the aftermarket. In this role, you are responsible for dedicated international markets, assigned (key) customers and corresponding product families. You drive the product portfolio throughout the product life cycle, starting from new product introduction, product sustainment activities to phase out, while making sure that execution is according to the customer requirements and processes. You bring strong business acumen, demonstrate strategic thinking and know how to further building our customer trust and loyalty. You are able to provide fact driven solutions to solve complex problems and translate identified market & customer requirements into successful customer & product strategies with related market introductions plans.
Responsabilities
- Supporting sales & service organization with regards to all technical & commercial & operational aspects
- Developing service product & customer strategies based on market and competitive intelligence
- Deriving business plans from the growth strategy and directing market introduction plans
- Identify customer technical roadmaps and drive corresponding product development (spare parts, repair programs, upgrades & retrofits)
- Managing sales and profitability targets for the dedicated product families, as well as for assigned customers / key accounts and the regions
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master's degree in sciences / engineering or equivalent education
- Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position
- Experience in product management within a high tech international environment, preferably in the vacuum industry or critical component B2B business
- Fluent business English skills written and spoken
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and know how to further building our customer trust and loyalty
- Ability to provide fact driven solutions and to translate the market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans
- Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills
