This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate sustainability, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, and data-driven environmental management in an international setting. The internship is limited to 12 months and requires regular on-site presence at our premises in Aarburg.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and validating ESG and environmental data at the group and product levels.
- Support the collection, validation, and analysis of sustainability data from global Franke entities (e.g. Scope 1-3 emissions, materials).
- Assist in maintaining data quality and documentation in the group's sustainability database and reporting tools (e.g. Intelex).
- Conduct research on sustainability topics such as supplier engagement, emission factors, and best practices for Scope 3 data management.
- Help prepare internal and external reports and presentations (e.g. SBTi progress, GHG inventory updates, sustainability communications).
- Contribute to cross-functional projects with Procurement, Operations, and Product Management related to sustainability data or decarbonization initiatives.
- Support administrative and coordination tasks (e.g. meeting scheduling, data requests, document version tracking).
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in environmental data and corporate sustainability.
- Familiarity with topics such as the GHG Protocol, life cycle assessment (LCA), or carbon footprinting is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable handling quantitative datasets.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is an asset.
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in an international team.
